Objectives & Purposes

To represent the interests of non dominant carriers in relation to regulatory policy development and implementation in order to:

• Promote competition in the telecommunications industry.
• To promote efficient investment and competition in Australia’s communications industries in with the aim of delivering improved services and competitive prices to all users.
• To provide a forum for non dominant carriers to speak with one voice on issues critical to the future of the information economy.
